Homestay

Experience Life with an American Host

  • Includes breakfast and dinner each day (students provide their own lunch)
  • Private bedroom; linens and bedding are provided
  • Transportation to and from the university for classes each day
  • Fully furnished home

Housing Deposit and Payment

If you choose to live in a homestay, a homestay deposit is due approximately two months before the move-in date, and full payment is due approximately one month before move-in.

Campus Dormitory

Convenient On-Campus Living

  • Only available for 5-week summer programs and 16-week fall and spring programs
  • Housing application deadlines:
    • May 1 for fall semester
    • Oct. 1 for spring semester
    • Email elc@uncw.edu to request on-campus housing.
  • Apartment-style or suite-style dormitory housing with shared bathroom, living room, and kitchen
  • Private or shared bedroom
  • Fully furnished (bed, desk, drawers, table, chairs, couch)
  • Does not include kitchenware, bathroom furnishings, or linens
  • A meal plan is required for on-campus students, but various options are available. Please see the meal plan policies and procedures for more information.

  • Does not include linens (sheets, pillow, blanket, towels), kitchenware, or bathroom furnishings (wastebasket, shower curtain, etc.)
