Through the creation and implementation of campus programming, Peer Educators connect with and encourage students in their health and wellbeing journey. Our Certified Peer Educators seek to prepare, educate, and empower students through effective projects and collaborative initiatives in and outside of the classroom, including wellbeing workshops, small group mentorship, and resource creation and delivery. Each Peer is certified through Peer Education training from NASPA, the leading organization for Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education. 

The Office of Student Wellbeing hires and trains student employees (undergraduate and graduate) on a rolling basis to become Peer Educators. Positions are posted and updated on the office's UNCW Handshake profile, as available.
