Project Management

The Project Management department within the Office of Facilities maintains campus maps of both Main Campus and Center for Marine Science. These maps help users manage and visualize geographic or spatial data. 

A map is the greatest of all epic poems. Its lines and colors show the realization of great dreams.

Interactive Campus Map

The UNCW interactive map provides a great resource for locating UNCW buildings and services. Simply search based on the criteria you are looking for, or use the checkboxes to filter the map data to the category of interest.

The top menu bar allows you to alternate between either Main Campus or the Center for Marine Science. It also provides the option to generate a default Printable Campus Map, or to create a customized printable map including the relevant information

Campus GIS

The following map is provided via ArcGIS and allows the user to both view and interact with a map of the Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ campus. This tool allows for various polygons to be drawn on a map, and then exported into various file formats. One of the primary uses of this map is in the production of Dig Permit Requests. For more information on the Dig Permit process, please reach out to Facilities Work Control.

Building Floorplans

Floorplans for various campus buildings are maintained for Faculty and Staff use. For information on how to access building floorplans, please reach out to our CAD/GIS Technicians.

Utility Map (Login Required)

The utility map is limited to Facilities personnel and approved entities only. It displays information regarding the various systems around campus and is used to properly plan upcoming projects, and to diagnose possible issues and their locations.

The UNCW utility map is maintained by our GIS technician using ArcGIS software. For more information, please reach out to our CAD/GIS Technician.
